Izzie, you're 5 months old today!

Dearest Boo Boo,

You're 5 months old today! Man, time does fly by quickly. You are really a joy to be with. You've started to giggle and laugh - it seems like your favorite people to laugh at are your silly parents. You've also discovered your feet, and just yesterday you've begun to put them in your mouth - too cute. Your favorite toy by far is your wooden drum. You light up when you hear it and just the other day, you were able to beat the drum with the stick yourself. We've regressed a bit in the sleep area - you're no longer that 9 to 10 hour sleeper, but I know you try your best. The world is so exciting that sometimes you just don't want to sleep, and that's okay. This past month has been interesting because you've had to adjust to mommy going back to work. You're an all-star - you seem to be adjusting really well, even though mommy is the one that gets weepy at times. We can't believe it's already been 5 months since you've become a part of our family...we love you so much!
